Blog and homework for week commencing 2nd of November

Hello and welcome back to school following our half term holidays. I hope you have all been able to enjoy the time in some way and that you are all well. We are back to practising spellings this week and homework is set.
We have some Spelling Frame Stars who have been working hard to practise their spellings and build up well-deserved points. Well done to all of you who have appeared on the leaderboard but a big well done to Chris, Dan and Thomas who were in the top 3 for points. Keep up the hard work everyone and make sure spellings are practised ready for our weekly test.
Our Star of the Week from before half term was Lily Mallaburn for her quietly confident and independent approach to learning as well as showing great imagination in her creative writing. Well done Lily!
~ All spellings can be found by logging onto Spelling Frame. Please log on regularly every week to practise your weekly spellings. If for some reason your child is not able to access Spelling Frame, please get in touch and I can send you the spelling list.
This week's homework is once again set on 'Busy Things' in 'My Assignments'. This week, I am checking to see what you can remember about teeth names and their functions as well as some of our muscles of the body. Please submit your work to me once finished.
P.E ~
We will continue to have Multi-skills on a Thursday morning so please send your child in an appropriate P.E kit as you have been.
Christmas Card project ~
This week you will have received your child's Christmas card design in an envelope along with a leaflet instructing you on how to order. The code you need is on the back of your child's design. Once you have ordered, please can you return the design in an envelope clearly marked with full name and class which will be dropped into a classroom box by your child. I will then send the designs to the company. Please only return the design if you have placed an online order. Your purchase will then be delivered to school and we will have them with you in good time before the Christmas holidays.
Take care everyone and have a good week,
Mrs Smith
