Today the children were put into teams. They had to chose a team name for themselves. This is 'Team Fairies'.
This is 'Team Hedgehogs'.
The children needed to do some problem solving today.
The children had to work out how to get from the start line to the finish line without standing on the grass.
They were given some natural resources to use to walk on.
There was some very good communication going on with 'Team Fairies'.
It was a little bit tricky for 'Team hedgehogs' at the beginning, plus they had an extra team mate but they soon got the hang of it.
The children had to jump over the finish line to win.
Great job 'Team Fairies'.
The children wanted to do it again.
'Team Hedgehogs' really had the hang of it now, great teamwork!
It was hard to balance on the stepping stones. We pretended the grass was Lava!
One of the children said "Why don't we join the teams together!"
The children decided to make a really long obstacle course working together.
Team work makes the dream work!
They tried out their obstacle course and manged to get all the way around.
Some of the children started to make some Christmas decorations for our school Christmas tree.
Some of the children went on an insect hunt.
"Look I've found a Millipede".
The children knew exactly where to look to find the insects.
Time to do some measuring.
"Mrs Pickard I want to see how tall you are".
It was time to finish our session, my helper counted the necklaces and knew she needed to collect in 2 more so she had everyone's necklace.
