Glendale Countryside Day

We had a fantastic day out at the Glendale Countryside Day! There was so much to see and do and we learned so much from local businesses.
We saw sheep being sheared and felt the wool afterwards. We could feel the natural oil from the wool which is called lanolin.
We even went to the butchers and learned about different cuts of meat and used a milking simulator.
We practised the Northumbrian Pipes and tried to make a noise through a paper reed.
Take a look through our Glendale Gallery.
The emergency services gave us these hats to try on for size.
We also got to practise resuscitation which is a life-saving technique used in many emergency situations.
We planted seeds...
...and learned a lot from 'Field to Fork'.
Uh oh, what have you done to end up in the stocks?
