Half Term Blog

HALF TERM BLOG

Hi everyone,

Well, even though we haven't been in school as a class, everyone has worked so hard to keep up their learning. We have been able to share so much in the way of school work and what we are doing in our leisure time. Thank you for this!
There is no set subject work for over the half term however if you haven't already been inspired with an idea for the Swansfield Art Competition, this week is the perfect opportunity to get your creative minds and hands busy and buzzing!! Why not take a look back at the competition overview which is on last week's learning page? Looking at this might just give you a bright idea. You could also look online at what other budding artists have been up to.
Last week, a team of staff were busy in school organising work packs for classes who are not returning to school at the minute. In our class pack you will find:
Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar Sheets ( I will direct you to these on each week's learning page)
More 'Big Maths' sheets ( Some of these you may have done already but it does no harm to do some again)
Quick Comprehensions
Times Tables Rockstars Sheets
A class reader (To read when you like and at your own pace. This will not be part of the weekly learning)
A pencil and a variety of paper.

I am hoping that to have some of these already printed will be of use to you. You will all be contacted by school with a day and time slot to collect work packs from school. Weekly learning pages will continue as normal after half term and I will continue to attach worksheets/word mats and any other resources which are needed for individual learning tasks.

Take care, stay well and I will be back with a new week's learning from the 1st of June. As always, I will let you know of any days I am in school that week.
