Head Teacher's Blog 13.02.22

13th February 2022

Well this half term has gone by in a flash - time flies when we’re having fun!

Last week felt more relaxed as all of the outbreak plans have ended and we are hoping to reintroduce more activities after half term such as practical lessons and outdoor learning and sports. It is therefore important to tie back long hair and remove earrings, please can you also ensure that your child wears black leggings for PE sessions. We also hope to begin choir again after the holidays. To begin with this will be in age phases, more details will follow.

Future events to note are:

  • Wear your PJs  to school on Friday - £1 donation towards the Friends. *Note - NUF PE sessions will still be taking place so wrap up warm!

  • On Thursday 3rd March we will be celebrating World Book Day - children can dress up as their favourite book character, more details of the day’s activities will be sent in the newsletter.

With the Winter Olympics in full swing, here’s some music from the games. Lei Jia is a Chinese soprano and Andrea Bocelli is an Italian tenor. Can you find out a little bit more about both words? Do they sing in a high or low musical range? School 360 points available for anyone who lets us know!
