Meet the Beech Class Team
The Beech Class Team are really looking forward to meeting you in September. We thought you might want to find out a little bit about us so we asked each other some questions and here is the low down on the team . . . . .
Mrs Young
What do you like doing in your spare time?
I love going for long walks in the hills near where I live, especially if I can take a flask of hot coffee and a sneaky chocolate treat. I like to walk my dog Hector too although he doesn't like walking as far as I do. He does love listening to stories though so next year I'm looking forward to reading him all the super stories you will be writing.
What is your favourite food?
Tough question! I love chocolate cake, strawberries, cheese, bread . . . . no that's far too tricky a question to answer!
What do you like about your job?
I have the BEST job in the world! I still get a buzz when one of my pupils learns a new skill. It still makes me smile!
What would you do if you didn't work in school?
If I couldn't be a teacher, I think I'd like to be a pirate instead. Or a professional dancer.
Would you like to be a Superhero?
Absolutely! Wonder Woman would be my choice. It would be brilliant to be able to get changed so quickly.
If you were an animal, what would you like to be?
I'd love to be the Loch Ness Monster as I love Scotland and I love swimming.

What do you like doing in your spare time?
I love going for walks with my naughty Border Collie called Pippa. We always take a ball as she is obsessed with playing fetch. We have to watch she doesn't chase the cars as well.
Did you know I was a Harry Potter and Marvel expert? Ask me a question in September and see if I can answer!
What is your favourite food?
I LOVE to eat jacket potatoes but who can decide on a favourite filling? Cheese, beans or tuna? It is too hard a choice!
What do you like about your job?
Listening to your lovely ideas and talking to you all is the best part of my job. I hope I'm not going to get into trouble for chatting too much!
What would you do if you didn't work in school?
If I didn't work in schools I would be a Marvel hero with mind reading powers. What do you think I could be called?
Would you like to be a Superhero?
Yes, I'd love to be Captain Marvel. When the avengers and the world were being destroyed, she comes and saves the day. She is Top Dog!
If you were an animal, what would you like to be?
I think it would have to be a tiger as they just look so cute, especially the tiger cubs when they are so playful.

What do you like to do in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to spend time with my family and go for walks with my Jack Russell, Digger. I also like to get creative in the kitchen especially when we were in lock down but that didn't do much for the waistband.
What is your favourite food?
My favourite food has got to be a Sunday Roast Beef Dinner. You can't beat a bit of bully! I'm also partial to a cheese scone just out the oven with loads of butter on yum. The list is endless but I also like a Haribo Sweets and of course chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate.
What do you like about your job?
I like facing new challenges every day as no two days are the same. I love trying out new things and adapting them to hopefully make a difference to help support the kids I work with and help them grow, gain confidence and achieve their targets.
What would you do if you didn't work in school?
I would be a riding instructor and own my own riding school. Before I had my kids I was a qualified riding instructor, I really miss the great outdoors, galloping over the fields in the fresh air and seeing the wildlife early in the mornings. If I couldn't do that then I would be an occupational therapist, helping patients to recover, develop and improve their quality of life. Failing that I would love to have a fancy dress shop the reason behind this is - you can be whoever you want to be on a daily basis, just don't forget never judge a book by its cover, it's underneath what counts. To be fair I've probably got enough costumes to start a shop now haha!!
Would you like to be a Superhero?
I don't think I would want to be a Superhero but I would like a Super Power of flying so I could soar into the sky and not have to queue or be in a traffic jam when going out.
If you were an animal, what would you like to be?
I would like to be an elephant with a tough exterior, soft and caring underneath, never forgets (not sure about that bit) and of course I already have the wrinkles so that bits not a problem!
