18th September 2017

We are very definitely back in the swing with lots of exciting things to tell you about.

Some of our children have been working with the Lions to tidy up The Cut and they are making quite an impression. If you have any ideas regarding the development of The Cut please let me know and I’ll pass on your thoughts.

Mrs Murdy has been very impressed with the number of children who have completed the Summer Maths Challenge and it is good to see that the children have remembered their number facts and times tables, thank you for your support.

On Thursday 28th September we will be welcoming back the marvellous Pearl of Africa Choir, the evening concert will be held at St Paul’s Church and tickets, priced at £3 for adults and £1 for children, are now available from the school office.

Don’t forget that it is Larch Class family lunch on Wednesday, please order your lunch at the office by Tuesday so that we have enough food to go round.

This Thursday at 3.15pm there is the Ford Castle meeting for our year 4 children, come along and find out what the residential visit is all about.

Other events this week include:

  • The Friends of Swansfield Park AGM on Wednesday at 7pm in the Studio
  • Year 6 assembly with Mr Hall from The Duchess’s Community High School is on Friday morning
  • Clubs begin on Wednesday
