Week 6 - 8.2.21

Hello lovely Oak Class friends.  It's Mrs Young here again.  I'm looking out for you again this week.  I have to say that I'm very impressed with all the super work you are doing at home and it's been lovely for me to get to know you all a bit better. Now I know lots of you may be feeling a bit tired but dig deep!  One more week until the holidays.  Keep trying.  Since it is Chinese New Year on this Friday, we thought you might enjoy a week of Chinese New Year activities before you have a well-earned rest at half term.  We won't set home learning for the holiday.  Keep up the good work everyone!

Dear Mums and Dads, half term is on the horizon!  Thank you for your continuing support and for sending photos of your child's work.  Don't feel you need to send everything but a few pieces would be great, especially writing tasks.  The children (and yourselves) will no doubt be getting tired so take your lead from them.  If they find the work too hard or too easy or they don't seem in the right frame of mind, feel free to change the activity.  If we attach worksheets sometimes the attachment has a few versions.  Don't feel you need to do them all just ONE will be enough (unless they're keen to do more!)  Most of all, stay safe and keep your home as happy as possible.
