Week 7 - 22.2.21

Welcome back everyone!  Have you had a lovely half-term holiday?  We're hoping it won't be long before you're all back with us in school, however, we still need to do a few more weeks working at home.  Come on Oak Class, dig in and try hard for your Mums and Dads. We can do this!

For Mums, Dads and carers,
You have worked so hard with your children so far in lockdown.  It's fantastic that you have managed to juggle home learning and your own work.  Hopefully this won't be for much longer.  Here are some tips to get through the last part of home learning:
  • Try to have set times for doing home learning and break it up into short sessions if you can with "treats" or breaks in between.
  • If you don't think your child can manage all the work or doesn't seem to get it, then feel free to change the activity or only do part of it.  Likewise if it is too easy add more to it.
  • Don't feel you need to print the resources, your child can just write their answers on paper like a list.
It's Mr Rose looking after the home learning this week so feel free to email work or send a message through Google Classroom.

Here are some spellings to learn this week.  Practise them as much as you can! Then ask someone in your house to test you on them on Friday or at the weekend.
