Weekly Blog, Homework & Spellings ~ 11.7.22

Blog & Homework for week commencing 11.7.22

Hello everyone,
I hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend and enjoyed the sunshine! The Summer Fair was a great success. Thank you to everyone who helped out and came along to enjoy the fun.
This week brings our Year 3 trip to Clarty Commandos. You all received the letter informing you of which day your child will be going. Please remember a packed lunch for your child or to order one from school. The summer sun and heat that goes with it looks set to continue this week. Please ensure your child also has a water bottle as well as a drink for lunchtime, as well as sun cream applied and a sun cap. On the day your child stays in school, they come as usual in uniform.
There will be no homework set for the next couple of weeks. We will have a spelling test next Monday but it will be a mixed list of spellings we have learned this year - no spellings to learn on Spelling Frame.

CELEBRATIONS
Our Star of the Week certificate goes to Sophie Colgan McKnight for a super coastal homework project - a whopping 10 school 360 points for you Sophie!

P.E

PE will be on Tuesday and Friday this week.
We ask children to come into school in their outdoor PE kit on the day of their PE lesson. Children should wear black joggers or leggings or as the weather gets warmer, children may wish to wear their purple shorts, their white PE t-shirt, purple school jumper and trainers. Please make sure that your child also has a named water bottle in school. Please ensure that all earrings are removed for school.
