Guidance throughout home learning

Guidance for school work

Hello everyone. I hope this message finds you safe and well and that you all managed to enjoy your Christmas together. It is unfortunate that we have had to close our class bubble but the attached pages will keep your child busy whilst we stay educated through home learning. The pages will be updated with school work or with information and guidance for our return to school as our school situation is reviewed. Each day has an English and maths activity along with resources to support your child's learning. Where I would like to see a piece of work in order to monitor your child's progress and give feedback, you will see the activity highlighted with @ PLEASE EMAIL. As you will remember the last time we were in this situation, you were able to photograph work and email it through or email through work on Google docs or Word etc. We will continue to use this method for work which I would like to see however feel free to send me anything else you have been up to! Alongside the organised activities, please keep going on Times Tables Rockstars and continue to practise the set spellings on Spelling Frame. Books have been set on Bug Club so I will continue to monitor the books you are reading online and allocating new ones as necessary. Busy Things also has an abundance of activities across the curriculum so make good use of that too. Remember to have regular breaks in between your learning to give your brain a bit of a rest - it will need it! I can recommend activities found on: https://www.yorkshiresport.org/get-active/thisispe/  to keep your child active at home during this time.
If you have any problems with the attached work, whether it be sending it, accessing it or for any other questions - you may want to arrange a chat by phone and that is absolutely fine, please email me at:

I look forward to seeing all your hard work and wish you all the very best for the year ahead. We will see each other again soon.

Take care and stay well,

Michelle Smith.
