Blog & Homework for week commencing 12th of April

Hello everyone and welcome back,

I hope you all had a happy and relaxing Easter break and that you are all well! Fingers crossed, we will  have a good run from now through until the summer, where we can continue to enjoy learning together as a class and get outdoors to enjoy some fine weather. You can find our Medium Term Plan for the Summer Term along with the curriculum letter on our class page. We have lots to learn this term! We are going back to weekly spellings, reading and subject based homework. As before, homework will be set on a Monday to be returned for the following Monday. Willow Class will be happy to know that our subject based homework will now be set on Google Classroom, with spellings continuing on Spelling Frame and reading books set on Bug Club. Please see below for your child's homework overview.

P.E
This half term, P.E will continue on a Thursday. In line with our Covid-19 Risk Assessment, we are asking children to come into school in their outdoor PE kit on the day of their PE lesson. Children should wear grey / black joggers or leggings or as the weather gets warmer, children may wish to wear their purple shorts, their white PE t-shirt, purple school jumper and trainers. Please make sure that your child also has a named water bottle in school.

** Wellies ~ The bags I have been giving the children for their wellies have not been lasting long! If you could give your child a carrier bag for them to pop their wellies into so they can hang them on their pegs that would be much appreciated. The trunk outside is better kept for spare wellies.
