Family Hubs
Family Hubs in Northumberland are welcoming community spaces designed to support families with children and young people from pregnancy through to age 19 (or 25 for those with special educational needs and disabilities).
Previously known as Children's Centres, these hubs offer a wide range of free services and activities, including parenting support, early years play sessions, health and wellbeing advice, infant feeding support, and access to midwifery and health visiting services.
Located across the county, Family Hubs aim to make it easier for families to get the help they need in one place. They also provide evidence-based parenting programmes like HENRY and Incredible Years, support for children with additional needs, and opportunities for community engagement through volunteering and parent forums.
