Job Title: Children and Family Support Worker

Location: Swansfield Park Primary School, Alnwick

Band 4 Contract: 15 hours per week, Term Time + 5 days

Swansfield Park Primary School is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Children and Family Support Worker to join our welcoming and committed team as we expand our vital support for pupils and families.

This post is ideal for someone truly passionate about helping children and families overcome barriers to learning, enabling every child to flourish. You will be at the heart of our community, working directly with pupils and families and supported by a dedicated team who share a strong sense of purpose.

We are seeking someone who:

• Brings empathy, energy and a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable children and families.
• Is non-judgemental, caring and resilient in the face of complex situations.
• Builds strong, positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Works collaboratively and contributes positively to our school team.
• Is a qualified professional (NVQ L3) with a strong understanding of safeguarding and anti-discriminatory practice
