Cherry Blog Winter days!

Well what a busy half term that was, we have welcomed new friends to our little Cherry family who have all settled into their new class very well, we have enjoyed some snow days which was perfect for our winter theme.

We started off by reading Goldilocks and the Three Bears, which was a hit we then couldn't get enough of other bear stories such as We're Going on Bear Hunt.

It was great to see the children look at our school field slightly differently as we had few snow days the children could explore the snow in their own individual way. Some of us spotted foot prints, other liked to feel the snow in their hands and some liked to run through the snow. We had a go at some winter art, creating winter trees using cool colours and looking at how the trees have changed over time.

Among all of our busy topics, themes and core texts. The children are always using their provision to enhance their skills or learn new ones. You will find some pictures below celebrating our two years olds becoming independent learners.

That's us for now, enjoy half term and we will see you all very soon. Don't forget to take a look at our pictures below enjoy, Claire :-)
