Exploring Colours and Shadows - 02.12.22

November means the nights are getting darker. Finding it is dark by 4 o'clock can be a little bit worrying, especially for our younger children. Therefore, we have focussed on making our room warm and homely with lots of stories, twinkly lights and cosy corners.
Our stories have focussed on the theme of darkness, we especially enjoyed "The Owl who was Afraid of the Dark" and animals that come out at night such as bats. To get used to the darkness we have played with torches and the coloured cubes and explored the effect they have on colours and shadows.
