Register of Interests

 

Governors must declare any relevant business interests as well as details of any other educational establishments they govern.  The register must also set out details of any relationships between governors and members of the school staff.  Governors should update these interests on an annual basis or if there is a material change where a conflict may occur. 

This register must:

  • state the name and category of each governor
  • set out any relevant business interests
  • set out details of any other educational establishments that they govern
  • set out any relationship details between governors and members of staff, including spouses, partners and relatives.
