Celebrating the Queen's Life - 16.09.22

All through the Summer Holidays we have been watching the creation of the Jubilee Garden. Although we have had a lot of fun watching the diggers coming and going, it is good to be back on the yard and to be able to play on all the new equipment. We had lots of fun practising our climbing skills and having fun sliding down the slide.
We were all saddened to hear of the death of the Queen. We spent some time as a Club thinking about what it meant to us. We shared memories of our Jubilee Tea Party earlier in the summer and the fun we had had painting Roxy, our Corgi dog, for the trail in Alnwick Gardens. Then we talked about what we could do to mark the occasion. The children decided to use the chalks to create bright, colourful crowns outside on the yard.
