Merry Christmas Apples!

Merry Christmas Apple Class!

Wow! A whole term has gone by in Apple class already...can you believe it!?

We started off our very festive week by welcoming you all into school to share our very special Christmas songs around the tree. It was such a lovely celebration on both Monday and Tuesday where we retold the Christmas Story together along with singing our Christmas songs with you all.

Wednesday was our Christmas Dinner and party day! Before we has our very festive lunch Tina our school cook came down and had a chat with us about what was going to be on our dinner. We asked her if we were going to have turkey and she said that we were. Many children mentioned carrots, peas and roast potatoes! Tina also told us that we would have pigs in blankets, mashed potato, stuffing and parsnips! From the photos below you can also see that we had crackers and had already made our own party hats!

After our Christmas dinner we got back to the classroom to continue with our party games.
We had such a great time dancing and playing more Christmassy games and we even had a visit from Santa who very kindly gave Apple class a bubble machine! Thank you Santa!

We have enjoyed lots of festive arts and crafts along with baking biscuits, practising our Christmas songs this week and we've had some very tired children amongst us who are so ready for their Christmas break!

I hope you have all loved looking through their Christmas folders. We have been very busy the past couple of weeks.

We hope that you all have a wonderful Christmas holidays with your lovely children and we look forward to welcoming you back on Monday 8th of January.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year,

From Mrs Farrar and all our of Apple Class Team!
