Meet the Plum Class team

We thought you might like to find out a little bit about us...

Have you got any pets?

Mrs Grimes
I have a pet rabbit called Coco who is 3 years old.  She's black and she's a bit chubby because she loves treats!  She also loves running around in my garden and helping herself to all my lovely plants.
I'm very excited because at the end of July, I'm getting a jackapoo puppy called Peanut.  He's very little and very cute and I can't wait to show you all some pictures of him when we get into Plum Class.

Mrs Hammond
I have a pet dog called Tilly who is 9 years old. She is a border terrier who likes to go for walks on the beach and playing with her ball. I also have 2 budgies, a green one called Fred and a blue one called Barnie. They make lots of mess and noise! Maybe on day they could come to Plum Class for a visit.

Miss Lunn
I don't have any pets at the moment but will be getting a new puppy soon to work on the farm and help us chase all the sheep around the fields.

If you had a magic wand what would you do with it?

Mrs Grimes
Well, sometimes it can get a little bit messy in Plum Class when we're having so much fun playing and creating with all of our lovely resources. So, if I had a magic wand, I think I would wave it and magic Plum Class tidy and sorted again at the end of each day!

Mrs Hammond
If I had a magic wand, I would wave it and ask for lots of sunshine in September so that we could spend lots of time outside in our class garden playing together and digging up our vegetables.

Miss Lunn

If I had a magic wand I would give give myself the superhero ability to become invisible! That way I can sneakily check up on Mrs Hammond and make sure she's behaving without her knowing!

What is your favourite tea?

Mrs Grimes
Well, that's an easy question to answer. There's nothing better for tea than scampi, chips and peas with lots of lovely vinegar on those chips, especially if someone else has cooked it for me!

Mrs Hammond
My favourite thing for tea is lasagne and salad, maybe with a few crispy roast potatoes on the side of the plate yum !!

Miss Lunn
My favourite thing to have for tea is definitely toad in the hole with mash, green beans and lots of gravy!

What is the best thing about your job?

Mrs Grimes
Well, that's a hard question to answer because there are so many good things about my job. I love that it's busy, exciting and different everyday.  But, what gives me a real spring in my step is when I'm singing with boys and girls in Plum Class and with all of the Swansfield friends who come to choir.  Those days are great days!

Mrs Hammond
I love to help all of the boys and girls learn how to write their numbers and letters. I really like drawing, painting and making fabulous models and of course growing flowers and vegetables with Plum Class friends.

Miss Lunn
I think the best thing about my job is getting to meet lots of new people and sharing stories with everyone! Learning new things about everybody and hearing funny stories about the things everyone gets up to always makes me smile.
