Week 5 Monday 1st February

Well, here we are in week 5.  The half term holiday is in sight, we can do it!
Yet again we are amazed at how the children are adapting and thriving in their new 'classrooms'.  Such an achievement!  Thanks for all the updates and pictures of work.  These are always so lovely to see.

It was great to get a few emails from parents asking about how they can adapt the work to specifically meet their child's needs.  We are always more than happy to give an email response or arrange a telephone call if this is something that you feel your child would benefit from.  When we are in the classroom we naturally change and adapt our language and our approach to meet the needs of all learners.  It's a little trickier to do this when we are setting work virtually but we really want to ensure that all of our children are being catered for.  So, do get in touch if for any reason you feel that the activities are not quite working.

Also, let's take the opportunity to say that we add a lot of content each week so that everyone can be kept busy.  But, we know that work schedules and family commitments mean that sometimes, all of the work is not achievable.  This is fine.  We understand and reiterate that family well-being always comes first.

Thanks also for the messages of support that many of you have sent to us as a team.  These are so appreciated and we thank you for taking the time to contribute to our well-being.  We truly are all in this together!

So, on with another week... let's do this!
